WORLD WAR II HISTORICAL RE-ENACTMENT FOR THE 75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF PORRETTA TERME
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Alto Reno and the Allies’ entry in Porretta Terme on the 5 of October 1944. This historical re-enactment of World War II recalls those days when many men and women sacrificed their lives for freedom.

Two days of stories, studies, re-enactments and in-depth tables that saw the precious collaboration of the Centauri Soft Air Club Association, the Pro Loco of Porretta Terme, Biagioni and Castelluccio, the CPIA Montagna, the Comprehensive Institute of Porretta Terme, Institute Superior Montessori-Da Vinci of Porretta Terme.
We could not miss a space dedicated to the Porrettana Railway which was the backbone of the north-south communications of Italy and Europe and is today an indispensable infrastructure for the very life of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine communities.
