NATIONAL WATER FESTIVAL 2018 | 4th EDITION – ALTO RENO TERME
The area of the Alto Reno has always been identified with water. The water of the thermal springs, the rivers and the lakes, the water of the streams able to work mills, to produce electricity, to attract tourists.
It is no coincidence, then, that the largest national event dedicated to the environment is held here : from June 22nd to 24th, Alto Reno Terme will host the fourth edition of the National Water Festival.
There will be three intense days, during which the precious natural resource will inspire conferences, shows and events, with guests such as Luca Mercalli, Luca Doninelli, Valerio Magrelli, David Riondino, Francesco Sabatini and many internationally renowned experts, called to address issues of topical current actuality: management of water resources, water saving, emergencies related to desertification and climate change. A conference will also be held on a particularly relevant topic given the historic role of the Porretta thermal springs: the therapeutic importance of thermal waters.
Several musical, theatrical, literary events and a journey from Bologna onboard a historical steam train.
