THE CHRISTMAS ELVISH GAME
COMEDY SHOW FOR CHILDREN ABOUT FRIENDSHIP AND FAIRNESS
SAT DEC 7th h. 2:30 pm @ Teatro Testoni, Porretta Terme (Bo)
Written and directed by: Martina Pizziconi
With: Sara D’Angelo, Martina Pizziconi
In the land of Santa Claus, young elves go to school to learn to manufacture toys and bake treats. Every year on Christmas a contest takes place: the winner is the one elf who sets up the best Christmas’ morning for a child in the world. The prize is a pair of golden shoes which mark the promotion from elf student to elf worker. This year, for the jury of the final match has been drawn a little girl, who wishes a plush dog for Christmas.
The finalists are a young elf boy and a young elf girl. The former manufactures a plush able to wag its tail and bark upon a whistle; the latter focuses on the atmosphere – beside the plush, a wonderful awakening with music and treats. But the contestants get caught too far: they lead the competition unfairly, cheating off and stealing each other’s presents. Only repentance and the conviction that friendship is worth more than any prize prevents them from being disqualified. Eventually, they win the prize on equal merit, under the condition to share one pair of golden shoes for a whole year without quarrelling.
Only then, on the following Christmas, both would have earned their promotion!
