YOU CAN VISIT THE ROLLING STOCK MUSEUM JUST FEW STEPS FROM THE PISTOIA TRAIN STATION.
The collection gathers the most spectacular trains running on the Porrettana Railway from 1864 to the present day.
An outdoor museum where ancient steam and electric locomotives are displayed, a steam track, a railway model exhibition, a photography gallery and a demonstration of running steam locomotives.
The museum is open every first Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 4 pm guided tours are available upon booking.
