Experience an emotional journey on a historical electric train between valleys and breathtaking gorges. We will visit the spiral galleries of Piteccio and the beautiful Rolling Stock Museum of Pistoia to discover the ancient steam locomotives.

OPTION 1 | HIKING

Transfer by navette to Monteacuto Delle Alpi or Pianaccio and back and then proceed on foot in some suggestive wild treks in the Corno alle Scale Natural Park assisted by a certified hiking guide. On Sunday morning there will be a relaxing break at the thermal baths of Porretta

OPTION 2 | E-BIKE

Departure from Porretta Terme on e-bikes assited by a certified e-bike hiking guide. Each participant will be equipped with e-bikes. On Sunday morning there will be a relaxing break at the thermal baths of Porretta

OPTION 3 | WELLNESS AT THE PORRETTA TERME THERMAL BATHS

Visit to the thermal springs and the thermal baths of Porretta Terme with a geologist as a guide to discover the wonders of the water of Porretta and, in the afternoon, a relaxing and purifying break of about three hours where you will enjoy the peculiarities of the salsobromoiodic waters, of the thermal pool, the sauna, the vascular path and the relax area. On Sunday mornings, a navette will be available to Gaggio Montano for a visit to “Fior di Latte”, a mountain cheese factory of Parmigiano Reggiano.

VISIT THE ROLLING STOCK MUSEUM OF HISTORIC TRAINS IN PISTOIA

Departure at 2:25 pm from Porretta Terme train station with a historic train towards Pistoia. The slow journey will allow you to enjoy the naturalistic and architectural beauty of the wonderful landscapes crossed by the Transappenninc line of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

We will guide you inside the unique spiral tunnels of Piteccio.

Once in Pistoia, the participants will be able to easily reach on foot the Rolling Stock Museum which includes among its memorabilia, the wonderfull well preserved ancient trains including some beautiful original steam engines.
